All Elite Wrestling has created more jobs for people who work in the professional wrestling industry which is obviously a good thing. In recent years a number of former WWE stars have gone on to join AEW, but some of them have been working behind the scenes as opposed to in front of the camera.
Scott Garland, formerly known as Scotty 2 Hotty in WWE, recently appeared on Wrestling With Johners and he talked a little bit about the work he’s been doing behind the scenes for AEW.
“I don’t think it’s a huge secret that I’ve been working for AEW as a producer behind the scenes, as a coach and producer there. I have an opportunity to do more with them, on a regular basis. It looks like at the beginning of the year, I’ll be going pretty hard with them if everything works out the way I hope it does.”
Scott Garland first started wrestling for WWE in 1997 and he went on to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship twice and the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship once before his run with the company came to an end in 2007. Garland then went on to return to WWE in 2016 working as a trainer at the Performance Center. He later parted ways with WWE once again in 2021.
