The Royal Rumble is only a few weeks away which means that business is about to pick up for the stars of WWE. With the big show quickly approaching fans are already talking about potential returns. Back in 2022, Maryse returned to the ring at the Royal Rumble premium live event, but it doesn’t sound like the former WWE Divas Champion has any plans to return at this point in time.
Maryse walked the red carpet ahead of the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix last week and she explained to People that she still loves the business. However, she can’t travel the way she used to because her kids are currently her number one priority.
“As much as we love what we do, the kids are now priority and number one. So we have to prioritize them in every single aspect. … Especially as a woman, it’s difficult with two kids. I can’t travel the way [I used to] … And then I don’t want to.”
“I want to be there for my kids. And that’s what makes me happy. I want to go to bed at night and know that I’m in the same house as my kids, so as much as I love the business — I miss it — I choose my kids.”
