It seems that WWE’s premium live events are becoming bigger and bigger with each passing year and earlier this week WWE announced a huge deal that will bring Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and WrestleMania to Indianapolis. The Royal Rumble has been confirmed for Lucas Oil Field in 2025 and SummerSlam and WrestleMania will emanate from the same venue at some point in the future.
Every wrestling fan looks forward to the Royal Rumble as the Royal Rumble matches often feature surprise returns. Following the announcement for the 2025 Royal Rumble former WWE star Matt Cardona teased a possible return at the event. Cardona posted the following on social media:
“#RoyalRumble is in Indianapolis…
Indy…
hmm…
Maybe it’s time for the INDY GOD to come home……”
Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder) was released from WWE in 2020. While many released stars have made their way back to WWE, Cardona has yet to return.
