The WWE landscape went through a major shakeup last week as a prominent authority figure announcer their departure from the company when Ava revealed that she decided not to renew her contract.
Over the last few days there had been a lot of speculation regarding how WWE would handle the situation, and Shawn Michaels named Mr. Stone the new interim General Manager for the NXT brand during this week’s episode.
At this point in time it’s not clear who will be taking over the NXT General Manager role on a permanent basis, but Carmella seemingly showed interest in the job when she responded to a video of Shawn Michaels appointing Stone as the interim GM with a tweet which said, “Hmmmmm.”
Bayley also showed her support for the idea of Carmella taking over the NXT General Manager role when she posted the following response:

Carmella first signed with WWE in 2013 and she remained with the company until she was released in 2025. She is a former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, WWE 24/7 Champion, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and Money in the Bank winner.
