CM Punk is without a doubt one of the most polarizing figures in the world of professional wrestling as it seems that everyone has a strong opinion when it comes to the Second City Saint.

During a recent interview with TMZ Sports former WWE star Matt Riddle claimed that he has good friends on the roster who say CM Punk is a “b****” to work with. He also stated he doesn’t think Punk is good at fighting, and that Punk’s best wrestling days are behind him.

“I have good friends on the roster that still say he’s a b**** to work with. If he didn’t generate the amount of money and attention that he does, he wouldn’t be there. And kudos to him. Kudos to him. The guy packs an arena. He sells tickets. He sells merchandise. And when you’re looking at WWE, especially with TKO, I don’t think they care about anything else. They go, ‘What do you want to get paid? You bring on this much value. Okay, good.’ And right now, hats off to him. He’s killing it. He’s wrestling. He’s staying active. He’s staying busy, and his fans seem to love it. So, I have no ill will towards the man. I just don’t think he’s well good at fighting. I think his better days of wrestling are way behind him.”

CM Punk recently won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship earlier this month when he defeated Gunther in the night 1 main event at SummerSlam. Unfortunately for CM Punk, Seth Rollins successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract immediately after. Punk will be getting another shot at the gold soon as he’s set to face Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Jey Uso in a four way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris.
