WWE has parted ways with a number of superstars over the last few years, but it’s certainly not uncommon for the company to bring back former wrestlers to coach current talent.
Fightful Select reports that former WWE star Kalisto was working as a guest coach and a producer at WWE live events this week. The former United States Champion was also reportedly at the WWE Performance Center throughout the week coaching, and he was at the live event on Friday. Kalisto reportedly produced the women’s matches, but there’s no word on if WWE will be bringing him back any time soon.
Kalisto first signed with WWE in 2013 and he went on to work on the NXT brand where he won the NXT Tag Team Titles with Sin Cara. He went on to join the main roster where he became a two time United States Champion and a WWE Cruiserweight Champion. WWE released Kalisto in April of 2021.
