This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite aired live from the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania and it was the go-home show for the Full Gear pay-per-view. Some familiar faces appeared on screen, and a familiar face was also in the audience as former WWE star Gene Snitsky was in attendance fro the event.
Snitsky took to Instagram to thank Tony Khan, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin and Prince Nana when he shared the following post about the event:
“THANKS @aew @tonyrkhan @chrisjerichofozzy @sheltyb803 @princekingnana for the gracious welcome this evening! ITS NOT MY FAULT You guys rock!!!!!”
Snitsky is from the Pennsylvania area where he competed for the WXW promotion in his early days. He went on to debut with WWE in September of 2004 and he remained with the company until 2008 when he was released. In November of 2023 he made a cameo appearance during a backstage segment with Chelsea Green.
Following his release from WWE in 2008, Snitsky continued to wrestle for promotions such as WXW, Total Nonstop Action and Major League Wrestling. He announced his retirement in 2018, but later returned to the ring in 2023.
