Last year quite a few WWE talents were released due to COVID-19 related budget cuts and it just so happens that former Raw Tag Team Champion Brian Myers, formerly known as Curt Hawkins, was among the talents released.
A few months after his release Brian Myers resurfaced in Impact Wrestling, and now he has officially signed a contract with the company.
The former WWE star thanked Anthem President Ed Nordholm for the contract when he posted the following:
“Thanks for the money Eddie. You just made the best decision of your life. You now have a workhorse in the prime of his career with a massive chip on his shoulder signed to your roster. The Most Professional Wrestler. @IMPACTWRESTLING is now mine. #IMPACTonAXSTV”
