Over the years a number of notable names have come and gone from WWE, but you never know when a former star might return to the company. On Friday former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz revealed that she is back with WWE as she is now part of the coaching staff at the Performance Center. Jazz officially announced her new role when she posted the following:
“Giving God the all the Glory! I can officially say as of 2026 I’m now a part of the coaching staff at the @wwenxt Performance Center! Professional wrestling has been my life for 30 yrs. Now I get to work with the next generation of Superstars! I’m a true testament of never giving up . No matter how long the process may seem! #womenwrestling #wwenxt #wweuniverse #mypassionmylife❤️”
Numerous names such as Gail Kim, Medusa, Sharmell, Mickie James and more commented on the post and congratulated Jazz. Bianca Belair also congratulated Jazz when she left a comment which said, “OMG NXT talent are so lucky! I’m coming back to train! Congratulations!”
Jazz originally signed with WWE in 2001 after ECW went out of business. She was released in 2004, but later returned in 2006 before getting released again in 2007. In more recent years Jazz has worked with multiple promotions such as AEW, NWA and Total Nonstop Action.
