You never know when someone’s career could come to an end and it looks like at least one wrestler has decided to hang up their boots for good. Recently former WWE NXT UK star Jinny announced her retirement from professional wrestling and she noted that she’s stepping away due to injury when she posted the following on Twitter:
“After a long time away due to an injury, I have made the decision to hang up my fashionable boots.
Thank you for all the memories. I’ll remember for them forever.
Every journey has an end, but in life, every ending is just a new beginning. I’m excited about what’s next”
Jinny officially signed with WWE in June of 2018 and she went on to work in the women’s division in the NXT UK brand. Jinny last wrestled in November of 2021 and since her last match she has been doing work with WWE’s media partner, BT Sport. She did not disclose what type of injury she’s dealing with.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
