You never know when a wrestler’s career might come to and end and AJ Lee wrestled her last match on the Raw after WrestleMania 31, and then she quietly parted ways with WWE. AJ has remained retired since then and it doesn’t seem like her status is going to change.
AJ recently posted several photos of herself looking jacked with a caption saying that she’s bulking up. The photos immediately got fans talking about a possible in-ring return for the former WWE Divas Champion, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. AJ followed up with some more photos and made it clear she’s retired when she posted a caption which simply said, “retired athlete”
Even though AJ Lee won’t be wrestling she is currently set to appear in season 2 of Heels on Starz which also features her real life husband CM Punk. Season 2 of Heels will premiere on Sunday, July 28. Stay tuned for updates.
