There are a number of free agents in the world of professional wrestling at the moment, but it looks like one of them is off the market and has been for some time now.
Fightful Select is reporting that EJ Nduka is no longer a free agent as he’s been signed to All Elite Wrestling for quite a while. Nduka finished up with Major League Wrestling after his contract expired and he became a free agent at the beginning of 2023.
EJ Nduka debuted with All Elite Wrestling back in January when he faced off against Konosuke Takeshita. He has not been in the ring since that match, but has been under some type of deal with AEW.
There was said to have been interest in Nduka from WWE, Mexico and Japan. However, it’s being reported that when James Kimball was fired from WWE the company didn’t follow up on a lot of possible hires he was looking into, and AEW immediately became interested in Nduka when he made his debut with the company.
EJ Nduka first signed with WWE in August of 2019, but was later released in May of 2021. The level of his deal with All Elite Wrestling has not been confirmed. Stay tuned for updates.
