All Elite Wrestling has signed a number of former WWE stars since the company launched back in 2019. Last year CJ Perry officially joined the company, but she recently confirmed to USA Today that her time with All Elite Wrestling has officially come to an end.
Fightful Select reports that CJ Perry was actually part of the April set of releases from AEW. Originally CJ Perry had joined All Elite Wrestling on a per-appearance deal, but she ended up signing a contract along the way.
When Perry debuted she ended up in a storyline involving Miro and Andrade. However, it’s being said that her run with the company was impeded by her injuries and injuries that her on screen clients suffered.
CJ Perry first debuted in 2013 on NXT alongside Miro who was then known as Rusev. She spent many years working as Lana in WWE before she was officially released from the company in 2021. While confirming her AEW departure CJ Perry also indicated that she’s free to work anywhere and hopes to continue working as a manager in wrestling.
