This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a tag team match which saw FTR face off against Aerostar, and Samuray Del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto in WWE. Samuray Del Sol went on to note in a tweet that he prayed to the late Brodie Lee before his match when he posted the following:
“Prayed and talked to John (Brodie lee) before my match.. thank you for showing me your home @AEW and giving me the strength and energy I need it today (praying emoji) forever your in my heart Hermano.”

Chris Jericho then responded by informing Samuray Del Sol that he spelled Jon Huber’s name wrong, and Amanda Huber also chimed in.

Why is that?
I feel like it’s reasonable to expect a level of respect of spelling someone’s name right if you want to name drop them.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Amanda Huber was mad because she believed that Samuray Del Sol was not a friend of Jon’s and was name dropping him. It was also noted that the Huber family didn’t hear a word from Samuray Del Sol throughout Jon’s ordeal.
Bryan Alvarez also noted on the Bryan and Vinny Show that Jericho responded because Samuray Del Sol’s tweet made Amanda Huber “very, very upset” and it was also noted that “a lot” of other people were also bothered by the tweet.
When people brought up how Miro had misspelled Brodie Lee’s name as “Brody” Amanda pointed out that “Brodie/ Brody was a stage name. Not his real name. 2) Miro spoke to me almost daily when Jon was sick. 3) Miro cried with me after he passed. 4) Miro continuously checked on me & my kids.”
