AEW has signed a number of former WWE stars over the last few years, but it looks like at least one name is finishing up with the company. Bobby Fish hasn’t been appearing on AEW programming in recent weeks and Fightful Select is reporting that AEW will not be renewing Bobby Fish’s deal.
Bobby Fish last appeared on the August 3 episode of AEW Dynamite alongside Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole when the Undisputed Elite turned on The Young Bucks.
Fish made his debut with AEW on the October 6, 2021 episode of Dynamite when he challenged Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship. He aligned himself with Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole in December of 2021, but hasn’t been used much in recent months with Cole and O’Reilly out of action.
Bobby Fish last wrestled for AEW during a July taping of AEW Dark: Elevation and has been taking bookings on the independent scene. Prior to joining AEW he was featured in NXT as a member of the Undisputed Era before the company released him in August of 2021. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
