Since All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019 fans have seen a number of former WWE stars join the company and now it looks like another interesting name could be working with AEW.
Fightful Select reports that Chris Hero was slated to be backstage at the AEW Collision tapings tonight in Chicago and it set to work with the company on a trial basis. Hero is being looked at as a potential name to join AEW at least in a backstage capacity.
Chris Hero hasn’t wrestled since he was released from WWE three years ago, but he has stated that he’s not retired from in-ring competition and is waiting for the right situation. Numerous independent promoters have expressed interest in booking Hero in the past.
At this point in time it’s not known if there are currently plans for Chris Hero to wrestle in All Elite Wrestling. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
