Earlier this year it was announced that the WWE Network would be moving to Peacock, but it seems that Peacock has different standards and practices when it comes to what content will be allowed on the streaming service.
Peacock recently edited out some controversial segments from WrestleMania VI and Survivor Series 2005, and at this point there’s no telling what else might be removed.
The Wrestlenomics Twitter account noted people from Peacock are expected to review 17,000 hours worth of WWE Network content, and former WWE star Lance Storm responded to the tweet by saying, “Glad I’m in Canada 🇨🇦”
Storm also joked that if Peacock wants to edit out footage of his 2003 dancing gimmick then they are welcome to do so when he posted the following:
“Hey #Peacock if you wanted to edit out any of my dancing gimmick from 2003, that’d be okay.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Peacock editing WWE Network content as they become available.
