A number of familiar names have parted ways with WWE over the last few years and it was reported months ago that Baron Corbin had been informed the company wouldn’t be renewing his contract.
Now it seems that Baron Corbin (real name Tom Pestock) is officially a free agent as he recently posted the following announcement on social media:
“I’m officially no longer under contract since i was not fired. I was told they were not extending.
So if you’re making a horror movie, let me know ha ha ha ha
New year, no contract, let’s see what we can create”
Baron Corbin first signed with WWE in 2012 and throughout his run with the company he managed to win the United States Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship, Money in the Bank and the King of the Ring tournament.
There’s currently no word on what the future holds for Baron Corbin, but it was recently reported that the former WWE star was backstage at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view last month.
