This week Monday Night Raw rolled into Nashville, TN and you never know who might show up to attend a WWE event. Ahead of the show it was reported that former WWE star Summer Rae was backstage at the show, but she didn’t end up making an appearance on Raw this week.
With so many people returning over the last few months fans wondered if Summer Rae could be next, but it doesn’t look like a WWE return is in her future. Fightful Select is reporting that there are currently no plans for WWE to bring Summer Rae back full time.
Summer Rae signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2011 and she got her start in FCW before WWE introduced the world to NXT. She started out in NXT as a ring announcer but transitioned to an in-ring competitor in 2013. Later that year she debuted on the main roster as Fandango’s dance partner and she would take on various roles until she was released from the company in 2017.
Summer Rae returned to the ring last year when she entered the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match at number 23, but she was eliminated by Natalya. Stay tuned for updates.
