You never know who’s going to show up when you watch a professional wrestling show and this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a big debut. During the show Mark Briscoe made his way down to the ring and asked who would be stepping up to challenge him for the TNT Championship this week on Collision in Arlington, TX.
The lights went out and a beating heart appeared on the screen which went from red to black. Tommaso Ciampa then entered the arena and made his way down the ramp. Ciampa had a stare down with Briscoe in the middle of the ring and it was confirmed that Ciampa will be challenging Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship on Collision.

Tommaso Ciampa has been a hot topic as of late as he recently issued a statement confirming that he would be parting ways with WWE once his contract expired. Earlier this week his departure was confirmed when WWE moved his profile to the alumni section on their official website.
