Former WWE Star Has Reportedly Had Talks With AEW

There’s a lot of potential for movement right now in the world of wrestling as a number of talented performers have entered free agency. It’s probably safe to say that AEW will be signing a few of them and it looks like the company has their sights set on a former Impact Knockouts Champion.

Fightful Select reports that multiple companies are interested in Deonna Purrazzo. Numerous sources have confirmed that there have been internal discussions involving Deonna Purrazzo and AEW. It’s being said that AEW is Deonna’s preferred landing spot and the company is hopeful that they will sign her.

There had been contact between Deonna Purrazzo and WWE, but WWE sources indicated that their free agent talks had been tabled until the new year started.

Several independent promoters have also shown interest in Deonna Purrazzo and it’s believed that she would likely be booked solid if she wanted to take bookings on the independent circuit.

Stay tuned for more updates on Deonna Purrazzo’s status as they become available.
