There are quite few free agents out on the market right now, and you never know when you might see a former WWE star appear on AEW Dynamite.
During this week’s episode Serena Deeb made her debut with All Elite Wrestling, and she faced off against NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa.
Thunder Rosa was also making her AEW debut, and she picked up the win when she put Deeb away with the Thunder Driver.
Serena Deeb originally made her WWE debut in 2009, and went on to have a run with CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society stable. She was released in 2010.
She later returned to the company to compete in the Mae Young Classic in 2017. Deeb then signed on to work as a coach at the WWE Performance Center in 2018.
Back in April she was released from her coaching position due to WWE’s coronavirus related budget cuts.
