Former WWE Star Debuts At AEW Double Or Nothing

The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view aired live from Daily’s Place on Sunday night, and a shot at the AEW World Championship was on the line in the Casino Battle Royale.

The match featured some interesting moments, and it came down to Matt Hardy, Private Party, Christian Cage and Jungle Boy. When it seemed like things were winding down, The Joker made his entrance in the Casino Battle Royale, and it was revealed to be none other than former Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush.

Throughout the match Private Party were working to help Matt Hardy win, and Rush immediately targeted Private Party and Hardy. Rush had both members of Private Party over the ropes, and it looked like he almost had them eliminated, but Matt Hardy interfered and eliminated Rush instead.

Jungle Boy and Christian Cage teamed up to eliminate Private Party, and it came down to Hardy, Christian Cage and Jungle Boy.

Hardy tried to convince Cage to team up against Jungle Boy, but Christian instead eliminated Matt Hardy himself, and it came down to two.

The fans vocally supported Jungle Boy, and noticeably booed Christian as the two stars faced off. The end of the match came when Jungle Boy was on the apron, and Christian charged at him from the inside, but Jungle Boy threw Christian over the top rope to win a shot at the AEW World Title shot.

After the match Jungle Express came out to celebrate with Jungle Boy, and Christian Cage got in his face. Christian gave him a pep talk about winning the AEW World Title, then Christian hugged Jungle Boy before leaving.
