Bully Ray has certainly accomplished a lot when it comes to his career inside the squared circle, but unfortunately for Bully his opinions have not been well received as of late. Following Jon Moxley’s return on AEW Dynamite the Hall of Famer said that he thought Moxley should have taken more accountability, and that Moxley owed the fans an apology.
It didn’t take long for the internet to let Bully Ray know that they thought his opinion was a bad take, and GCW fans even took it upon themselves to chant “f**k Bully Ray” during Jon Moxley’s GCW World Championship match over the weekend.
During a recent appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Q&A show former WWE World Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree recalled his experience working with The Dudley Boyz, and he claimed that Bully Ray hurt some of the other talents on purpose.
“Ah yeah. I know for a fact; he purposely hurt some guys. Our first dark match. It was me and Lance Cade, and I guess the Dudley Boyz. It was beneath Bubba to work a dark match. Like, no, you big goof. They want to see how we look together and possibly bring us up and start a feud, moron. But anyway, I bend over for a backdrop, and he swift kicks me as hard as he can in the head and gives me a concussion.”
“Umm, just Blubber. I don’t call him Bubba; I call him Blubber. Because he is fat. (laughs). He was just a f***king pain in the a**; sorry for my language, I apologize. He was just a pain in the rear end. God!”
Renee Paquette and former WWE Divas Champion Paige also recently reacted to Bully Ray’s comments about Jon Moxley, and you can get more on that here.
