According to PWInsider Brian Myers, better known to WWE fans as Curt Hawkins was backstage at SmackDown Live this week.
Hawkins didn’t make an appearance on camera but he is expected to make his official return sometime soon.
After SmackDown went off the air John Cena teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on the team of Seth Rollins and AJ Styles. Roman Reigns won the match for his team when he pinned Seth Rollins after hitting him with a spear.
PWInsider is also reporting that WWE recently applied to trademark the name King of the Ring. The last time WWE used the King of the Ring tournament was in 2015 when Bad News Barrett won and went on to become King Barrett.
Paige has been pulled from the upcoming Australia tour. She was originally being advertised to team up with Sasha Banks to take on Charlotte and Dana Brooke. No word on why she was pulled.
