It seems that a former WWE star has found himself in some legal trouble as PWInsider is reporting that Patrick Clark, known to NXT fans as Velveteen Dream, was arrested in Florida on 8/26 for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
This is the second time that Patrick Clark was arrested in the month of August as records also show that he was arrested on 8/20 by the Orlando Police for First Degree Battery and Trespassing on property after a warning, both of which are are first degree misdemeanors.
Clark bonded out for $1,200 on 8/21 and plead not guilty. An arraignment hearing for the charges was scheduled for 9/28 at 1 PM EST, but it has now been listed as canceled.
Patrick Clark originally started appearing on WWE programming during the 2015 season of Tough Enough. He went on to debut as Velveteen Dream in NXT in 2017 and later captured the NXT North American Championship. Clark was released from WWE in 2021, but has recently been pushing for a return by using the #BringBackVelveteenDream hashtag on social media.
