Right now the wrestling world is buzzing about CM Punk and AJ Lee as it was recently reported that AJ is expected to return to WWE and team up with Punk to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at WrestlePalooza later this month.
Another wrestler who has been making headlines as of late is Matt Riddle as he allegedly no showed a wrestling event over the weekend. Riddle took to social media to tell his side of the story regarding the allegations and he also recently spoke to TMZ’s Inside The Ring.
CM Punk has seemingly taken an interest in up and coming talent since returning to WWE in 2023, and Matt Riddle openly shared his thoughts on Punk hanging around the NXT locker room during his interview with TMZ.
“I think he’s a creep. I feel like he’s just lingering around the NXT locker room a little too much. He has like Cora Jade as his daughter and everything. And everybody he kind of oversees.”
Riddle also made claims about AJ Lee’s personal life when he added, “AJ, you know, I have no problems with her. I’m a little f***** up myself, but she did get around from what I heard. But no disrespect to that. People like to hook up.”
As of this writing neither CM Punk nor AJ Lee have responded to Matt Riddle’s comments.
