Over the last few years a number of former WWE stars have joined All Elite Wrestling, and back in 2022 fans saw Jeff Hardy make his debut with the company. Hardy reunited with his brother Matt on screen when he first joined All Elite Wrestling, but Matt’s contract with AEW expired in April, and everyone’s been wondering how much time Jeff had left on his deal.
Fightful Select is reporting that Jeff Hardy’s contract with AEW is set to expire this week and Jeff will become a free agent on Friday. Originally there was some speculation that AEW could add time to Jeff’s deal, but that didn’t appear to be the case as of Wednesday.
Sources at Total Nonstop Action confirmed that they are interested in Jeff Hardy. Recently Matt Hardy has been working with the promotion and it’s being said that things have gone well with Matt’s return to the company, so he was asked to work additional dates.
Jeff Hardy suffered an injury back in February of this year when he faced off against Sammy Guevara in a no disqualification match that aired on AEW Rampage. Matt Hardy confirmed back in May that Jeff is cleared to return to the ring.
Stay tuned for more updates on Jeff Hardy’s status as they become available.
