It’s been an interesting year for wrestling as fans have seen a lot of big returns. They say that anything can happen in professional wrestling, and you never know when another name could return.
It was reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Alberto Del Rio has been telling people he’s returning to WWE once his legal issues involving the alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend are cleared up.
Dave Meltzer noted that while he doesn’t believe the claim and would be shocked to see Del Rio back in WWE anything is possible. It was also noted that while WWE could probably get away with the criticism the company would face for bringing him back it just doesn’t make sense for the company to go in that direction at this point in time.
