Combate Americas CEO Campbell McLaren has announced that UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz is set to face former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio in a MMA fight which is scheduled to be part of a Combate Americas event later this year.
According to MMA Fighting, the bout is set to take place at a 210 pound catchweight.
Ortiz signed with Combate Americas back in April, and he has a record of 20-12-1.
Alberto Del Rio has a record of 9-5, and he has not competed in a MMA fight since 2010.
At this point in time the exact date for the fight has not been set, but it’s expected to take place during the fourth quarter of 2019.
