For many performers in the professional wrestling industry it’s a great honor to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. A number of former WWE Champions have been inducted over the years, and it seems that Alberto Del Rio believes he has had a Hall of Fame worthy career.
The former WWE star recently took to Twitter to post a graphic of himself positioned next to the Hall of Fame logo. Alberto also listed the following accomplishments from his WWE run:
“4 times World Heavyweight Champion. Winner of the biggest battle royal in WWE history. Money in the Bank winner. 2 times WWE United States Champion. I will do my best to raise the Mexican flag once.”
Alberto Del Rio officially signed with WWE in 2009 and it wasn’t long before the company started pushing him as one of the stars. He was released from WWE in 2014, but later returned for a second run in 2015 before he was released once again in 2016.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion went on to work with Impact Wrestling, but he was released from the company in 2018 after no showing the Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground event.
