You never know who might return when you watch WWE programming and this week on Friday Night SmackDown it was former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley who made his return to TV. The Street Profits were seen walking around in the parking lot backstage looking for someone when a limo pulled up.
Bobby Lashley then stepped out of the limo and told The Street Profits that they’re looking good before asking them if they were ready to talk. Lashley then invited The Street Profits into the limo and they all drove off.
Over the last few months Bobby Lashley hasn’t been used consistently as plans for his feud with Bray Wyatt were apparently called off due to Wyatt being sidelined with an illness. Lashley did not compete at WrestleMania, but he did win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal the night before on SmackDown.
Bobby Lashley last wrestled on TV when he faced AJ Styles in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament semifinals on the May 12 episode of SmackDown.
One way or another it will be interesting to see where things go from here for Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
