Business has certainly picked up in the world of professional wrestling as of late, and AEW has signed some interesting names over the last few months including CM Punk.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that in addition to CM Punk more people will be joining AEW in the near future including former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt. At this point in time Wyatt signing with AEW is not a done deal as his non-compete clause has not expired.
However, it’s being said that the situation is similar to Malakai Black signing where there’s a strong expectation that the signing will happen even though pen has not been put to paper yet.
Bray Wyatt was released from WWE last month and it’s believed that his non-compete clause will expire on October 29.
CM Punk made his big debut with AEW on Friday night during Rampage at the United Center, and Daniel Bryan is expected to debut with the company next month. Ric Flair is also rumored to be AEW bound.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
