Fans have seen some big debuts in recent weeks as both MVP and Shelton Benjamin have joined All Elite Wrestling. There was some speculation that Bobby Lashley could be making his AEW debut at WrestleDream. However, Lashley did not appear during the show.
Fightful Select reports that Bobby Lashley has already signed with the company and is still AEW bound. It was noted that Lashley’s debut was considered for AEW WrestleDream, but ultimately the company decided against it.
It was said that if Bobby Lashley debuted at WrestleDream then the debut likely would have resulted in Swerve Strickland getting laid out or attacked. Due to the way the show ended it’s not likely that two hometown beat downs would have worked at WrestleDream.
As of right now the expectation is that Bobby Lashley will be making his All Elite Wrestling debut in the coming weeks. The plan is for him to align himself with MVP and Shelton Benjamin as a member of The Hurt Syndicate.
Bobby Lashley has not been seen backstage at AEW events and he was not on location for the WrestleDream pay-per-view over the weekend.
