A few months ago Tony Khan announced that the AEW All In pay-per-view will take place from Wembley Stadium in London, England in August, and people immediately started talking about ticket sales. So far things seem to be going well as far as ticket sales are concerned with Tony Khan recently stating on The Green Zone that about 70,000 tickets have been sold for the event.
“It’s about 70,000 tickets sold for about $9 million US in ticket sales for that one show in London at Wembley Stadium. It’s going to be a massive event. We are opening more seats up for that.”
AEW has yet to announce any matches for the show, but former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness has teased that he could come out of retirement at All In. Nigel continued to tease a possible return recently on social media when he jokingly asked why he wasn’t included on the poster for the event.
“Getting closer by the day – where’s my face on the poster though ”
Nigel McGuinness has been retired from in-ring competition since 2011, but teased back in April that he would consider dusting his boots off if the show sells out, and named Bryan Danielson as a potential dream opponent.
Earlier this month Nigel McGuinness spoke to Daily Mail about possibly returning to the ring at All In and he admitted that it would be hard for him to turn down an opportunity if one is presented to him.
“I’m not going to give you a cliche like never say never. I’ve said before that there are so many more deserving guys in the company to get the spots. I don’t want to be one of those old timers that comes in and takes a spot from someone who has been busting it, but, having said that, if the opportunity presented itself, it would be hard to turn it down. But I’m not sure I’m in in-ring shape in that regard. It would take a lot for me to seriously consider it.”
