People often joke about how no one ever really retires in the world of professional wrestling, and Ric Flair came out of retirement to wrestle his final match back in July. The Nature Boy teamed up with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, but to the surprise of no one it seems that Flair is already thinking about stepping into the ring again.
Recently Ric Flair took to Twitter to thank everyone for helping him celebrate 50 years in the professional wrestling business, and he also teased that he will never retire when he posted the following:
“Thank You To Everyone Who Helped Me Celebrate My 50 Years In The Business! One Thing Is For Certain… I WILL NEVER RETIRE! WOOOOO!”
Ric Flair originally retired back in 2008 after he was defeated by Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24. However, he came out of retirement to compete on the Hulkamania tour in Australia, and he went on to wrestle in TNA. Prior to his final match this summer he stopped wrestling following his match with Sting in TNA in 2011.
