The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament recently kicked off and the tournament continued on AEW Dynamite this week. Bryan Danielson picked up a win over PAC to advance to the finals, and Jeff Jarrett faced off against a wild card entrant later in the night.
Jeff Jarrett was emotional as he made his entrance and waited for the arrival of the wild card entrant. Jarrett entered the ring and looked up the ramp as Adam Page made his return.
Page seemingly played the role of the heel throughout the match as he was aggressively beating Jarret down. Jeff Jarrett fought hard as he tried to get the upper hand, and at one point he managed to block the Buckshot Lariat then reverse it into the Sharpshooter. Unfortunately for Jeff Jarrett, Adam Page made it to the ropes to break up the hold.
Adam Page then went for the Buckshot Lariat again and nailed it. Instead of pinning Jarret he struck him several times. Page then picked Jarrett up and hit him with Deadeye to pick up the win.
Following his match on Dynamite, Adam Page will advance to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semi-finals and he will face off against Jay White on Collision this week. Stay tuned for updates.
