CM Punk has proved throughout his professional wrestling career that he knows how to get people talking, and there are a number of wrestlers who have openly said that Punk has influenced their career.
Back in August the wrestling world was buzzing when CM Punk made his return during AEW Rampage at the United Center, and the wrestling world has also been buzzing about Roman Reigns’ run as The Tribal Chief.
During a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast Konnan discussed who has been more influential, Roman Reigns or CM Punk, and he gave the nod to Reigns.
“I think that for one night or one month, CM Punk was. For the whole year, what Roman has been able to do, increase ratings, increase buzz, maintain a great storyline for over a year with different guys, get an aura about him that only The Rock’s probably gonna defeat. I think he’s been way more influential.”
