Fans have seen quite a few big names part ways with WWE throughout 2021, but it looks like one former Universal Champion will be sticking with the company.
Fightful Select reports that Kevin Owens has signed a new deal with WWE. Details of the contract have not been confirmed, but KO’s new contract is said to be a multi-year deal.
Kevin Owens’ contract with WWE was set to expire at the end of next month, and it’s being reported that company officials made Owens an excellent offer to stay. It’s also being said that WWE officials are “over the moon” in regards to Owens signing a new deal with the company.
Negotiations between Kevin Owens and WWE reportedly started in the fall of 2021. Owens will challenge for the WWE Championship when he faces Big E, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1st. Stay tuned for updates.
