Former Top WWE Star Returns To The Ring After Leaving The Company

Anything can happen when you attend a professional wrestling event as you never know who might show up. Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was in attendance for the recent Lucha VaVOOM event in Los Angeles, and Rousey ended up returning to the ring for an impromptu match.

During the event in Los Angeles, Rousey teamed with Marina Shafir to take on the team of Brian Kendrick & Taya Valkyrie. Rousey tagged into the match several times as she tried to make both Valkyrie and Kendrick tap out to the armbar. The end of the match came when Marina Shafir threw water in Brian Kendrick’s eyes then Ronda Rousey applied the ankle lock to make Kendrick tap out.

Ronda Rousey last competed in a WWE ring back in August when she was defeated by Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam. The Baddest Woman on the Planet then finished up with WWE following the show. Recently Ronda Rousey seemingly hinted at retirement in an Instagram post, but it seems that she’s ready and willing to step into the ring under the right circumstances.
