Quite a few names have parted ways with Impact Wrestling recently including Reno Scum, Taryn Terrell, Marshe Rockett and Rockstar Spud just to name a few. Now yet another name has confirmed their departure as referee Robert King announced that he’s done with Impact Wrestling and he thanked the company for the opportunity.
Robert King isn’t the only referee who’s no longer with the company, as Brian Hebner confirmed his departure as well.
As part of financial cutbacks for the upcoming TV tapings in Ottawa, the company will only be using Canadian referees.
It seems that every week several new Impact departures are announced, and it looks like the trend of talents leaving the company may continue.
PWInsider is reporting that former TNA World Heavyweight Champion James Storm may be leaving soon as well.
Storm’s contract ends in 2018, and with the next TV tapings set to carry the company over the next few months, they may end up being Storm’s final appearances for Impact.
