Vince McMahon is one of the most powerful people in the world of professional wrestling, and he recently issued a big edict which got a lot of people talking.
McMahon issued an edict stating that all WWE talents must stop using third party platforms within 30 days. Exact details on the edict are still unknown, but it’s believed that it may include platforms such as Twitch and Cameo.
The edict has been heavily criticized in the wrestling community and beyond, and former presidential candidate Andrew Yang called out Vince McMahon for issuing the edict while classifying talents as independent contractors.
Yang even went as far as to call Vince McMahon’s labor policies corrupt when he posted the following:
Come on Vince – you’ve already deprived the folks breaking their backs for you of healthcare, security, recovery time, retirement benefits and fair treatment re: licenses and royalties. At least let them make a living off their own names. Many of them need it.

Vince you’d better hope your old friend Donald wins because change is in the air and changes are long overdue where your corrupt labor practices are concerned. It would give me great pleasure. The people know.
