Former NXT star CJ Parker has announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Parker asked for his release from NXT a few months back but left the company on good terms. CJ Parker had said in interviews that he wanted to work the independent scene for a while and build a name for himself but apparently that’s no longer the case.
CJ Parker will face TNA Champion EC3 in his final match which will take place on August 29th in Enfield, CT. You can see his announcement below.
