Wade Barrett debuted on the first season of NXT back when NXT was a competition/game show. Barrett won the competition with Chris Jericho as his mentor. After winning the competition Barrett aligned himself with the talents that didn’t win to form the Nexus and they tried to take over the WWE. The Nexus got a lot of people talking with their epic debut but unfortunately the group fizzled out after a few months.
Wade Barrett is a former 5 time Intercontinental Champion and a former King of the Ring winner. Recently Barrett had been using the King Barrett moniker and he was also a member of the League of Nations before the group kicked him out and eventually disbanded.
