Former Impact World Champion’s Contract Expiring Soon, WWE Signs Deonna Purrazzo

Eli Drake’s run with Impact Wrestling has done a lot of good for his career. It gave him a chance to show off his skills on the microphone, and he even managed to become Impact World Champion, but it looks like there’s a chance his run with Impact could be coming to an end soon.

PWInsider is reporting that Drake’s contract with Impact Wrestling is set to expire this weekend.

The two sides have been discussing a new deal, and an offer is on the table, but it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not Drake has agreed to terms.

It was reported a few weeks ago that WWE is interested in Eli Drake.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, WWE has signed 23 year old Deonna Purrazzo to a developmental contract, and she’s set to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in a few weeks.

Purrazzo has previously worked with ROH, Impact Wrestling and she’s also worked matches in NXT.
