Over the past few months Impact Wrestling has lost several top stars. James Storm finished up with the company last year, and last week during the tapings in Orlando, two former World Champions also said goodbye to Impact.
Ethan Carter III is done with the company, and it was recently reported that he is clear to work wherever he wants. Bobby Lashley also parted ways with Impact, but he won’t be free to work elsewhere until February 1st.
There’s said to be interest in EC3 on WWE’s end, and many have wondered if he could be possibly making an appearance at the Royal Rumble.
As of right now a possible Rumble appearance for EC3 is merely speculation, but it is worth noting that he was pulled from a Renegade Wrestling Revolution event which is set to take place on January 28, the same day as the Royal Rumble.
RWR posted the following on Facebook:
“BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! Do to reasons out of RWR control EC3 will not be able to attend RWR “OVER THE TOP”. EC3 has said he will be back to RWR in the near future.
