In the world of professional wrestling there are a lot of moving pieces, and it’s probably safe to say that things are only going to get even more interesting in the months to come.
With so many wrestling promotions to work for many talents are making moves, and it looks like a former Impact Wrestling World Champion could be moving on from the company.
PWInsider is reporting that Johnny Impact’s (John Hennigan) contract with Impact expired weeks ago, and the two sides worked out a deal so he could finish his feud with Rich Swann at Slammiversary.
Although Hennigan is no longer under contract with Impact, the two sides are talking about continuing their relationship, but he is free to negotiate with whoever he likes.
Hennigan made a name for himself in WWE as John Morrison, and he’s been working with Impact from 2017.
His wife Taya Valkyrie is reportedly under contract with Impact through 2019.
