With a new regime in charge of WWE fans have seen some interesting returns on WWE programming in recent weeks. Last night Hit Row returned on Friday Night SmackDown, but there were only 3 members instead of 4.
Top Dolla, B-Fab and Ashante Thee Adonis all made their way down to the ring, and Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis made short work of two local competitors in a short squash match.
Swerve Strickland did not return with the rest of Hit Row as he signed with All Elite Wrestling following his release from WWE. A fan reacted to Hit Row’s return by tagging Swerve in a tweet saying that WWE should bring him back because he’s wasting away in AEW.
Currently Swerve Strickland is one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions with Keith Lee, and he responded to the tweet by posting a photo of the current champions in AEW along with the following caption: “‘Wasting away’ 😒”
With Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis and Hit Row all returning recently it’s expected that fans will see more returns in the weeks to come, but for now AEW TV is the only place to see Swerve Strickland.
