Former ESPN SportsCenter Host To Do Commentary For Slammiversary

Impact Wrestling recently took a trip to India to film several episodes of their weekly television program, and now all roads lead to Slammiversary. On Sunday July 2nd, Slammiversary XV will air live on pay-per-view, and Impact Wrestling has announced the commentary team for the event.

Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews won’t be doing commentary for the show, as they’ll actually be getting in on the action. Jeremy Borash is set to team up with Joseph Park to face the team of Josh Mathews and Scott Steiner.

Due to the fact that Borash and Mathews will be absent from the commentary table, Impact Wrestling decided to call in some heavy hitters. Don West will be making his return to the announce booth, and he’ll be teaming up with former ESPN SportsCenter host Robert Flores.

“I’m excited to have a part in this year’s Slammiversary and grateful to Jeff Jarrett for this unique opportunity,” Flores said. “To play a role in Slammiversary alongside Don West is really cool. Slammiversary is an event 15-years in the making, and the best always separate themselves on the biggest stages – be it the in the wrestling ring or the World Series. I can’t wait to see what the IMPACT Wrestling stars do on July 2nd at Slammiversary.”
