It’s WrestleMania season which means that fans aren’t just talking about WWE’s biggest show of the year, they’re also talking about the annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
So far WWE has announced some interesting names for this year’s class, but there’s at least one former WWE star who likely won’t be mentioned during the 2022 induction ceremony.
Back in 2019 Torrie Wilson was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and during a virtual signing hosted by The Asylum Wrestling Store she noted that she wasn’t even allowed to mention former WWE Women’s Champion Sable.
“You’re not even allowed to mention her [Sable] name on… she was — I mentioned her name in my Hall of Fame speech and right before, they told me, ‘Oh, by the way, you’re not allowed to mention her name. Good luck seeing her. You’re gonna have to go up Timbuktu in Minnesota [to get Sable’s autograph]”
Sable made her last appearance for WWE in 2004, and if the above quote from Torrie Wilson is any indication then it seems unlikely that we’ll ever see her on WWE programming again.
